Selene 5366 at Marina Papagayo in Costa Rica

Good Evening Jessica and Howard,

Richard and I have left our boat, Rediscovery II, at Marina Papagayo in Costa Rica (located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica).  We cruised there with your friends, John and Kathy Youngblood.  The Youngbloods have already headed South and have gone through the Panama Canal but we will be in Marina Papagayo until late October of 2009.  It is a beautiful place,   part of a 4 Seasons development in the area.  It only rains about 60 inches of rain per year there..... where in the Southern part of Costa Rica it rains well over 200 inches of rain per year.  So we are hoping that there will be less problem with mildew and mold..... and all the problems associated with that much moisture.

These pictures were sent to us by the marina.....and we thought you might enjoy viewing them, too.  The sky is often overcast like this in the late afternoon during the summer.

Sincerely,  Richard and Jane Wenstrom,
Rediscovery II
