Selene 4830 hit a rock violently and survive

Dear Howard,

As you probably know, I had an accident with LOULUNE during a transfer between BORMES LES MIMOSAS and ARIE DE BOOM ship yard where my boat is comissioned.

I was driving by night and at 2 AM the boat hit a rock quite violently.

A noise and a shake I'll never forget !

We were two on board and had a few seconds to check how serious was the damage under the floor hatches, turn on  bilge pumps and try to reduce the water leaks.

Fortunately propulsion was not hit and we could drive to the port wher we arrived 1 hour after with some fear.

I had  terrible hours until shipyard arrived checking pumps were operating and leaks did not increase.

Considering the impact, the damage on the hull is quite impressive.

I think any other boats would have been more damaged.

Strength of your boats is wellknown but my unfortunated experience is one more validation.
